ADVICE Goals
GOAL
1:
Create the Arizona Diabetes Virtual Center of Excellence (ADVICE)
network to establish a comprehensive telemedicine program for diabetes
prevention, assessment, and management.
GOAL
2:
Create and evaluate innovative distance learning programs on diabetes for
patients, families, children, community-based allied health professionals,
and physicians in rural areas, thereby creating a community-based
infrastructure for diabetes health education.
GOAL
3:
Provide access to specialty health care for people with diabetes and
pre-diabetes in rural areas.
