Clinical Sites in the Arizona Health Sciences Center
linked to the Telemedicine Training Center

The Telemedicine Training Center - Warren Street Clinic is now linked by fiber optic cable to many other sites within the University Medical Center complex including laboratories, the clinical cardiology ward, the Radiology Department, emergency services, a site in the Arizona Cancer Center, and even a site in the dermatology building some distance away.

By creating this extended configuration, it is possible for physicians to provide telemedicine services without necessarily coming to the Telemedicine Training Center.  They can do it within the midst of their usual clinical work flows.  This extended configuration also makes it possible to deliver educational programming to many different sites within this large University Medical Center complex.
